Well, I went and did it. I was reading a recent post here, at Trish Lawrence's blog, and accidentally found myself committing to a writing goal.

Ruh-roh.

Anyone who knows me is aware that I am nothing of not a woman of my word, so now I have to do this.

I commit to 15 minutes of writing at least 4x a week.

Stop laughing, this is a big deal for me, people.

Write on!

    Awesome!!

Hey, sometimes it's hard to find that 15 minutes. But it will be so worth it to have that focus and discipline.

    Good luck! :)

We've both been bitten by the commitment bug. I've committed to 5 pages a day. Let's push each other to stick to it.

You'd be surprised at how much you can get done in steady amounts even if they are small. Fifteen minutes isn't a huge commitment, but the words will stack up.

And, because you are a sweetie...

I am anxious to see what your contribution will be.

    Hi Ladies!

Thanks for the luck, Sarah (how do you find time with your wee ones? That is my biggest challenge)

Sandra! I'm happy for us to inspire and push one another along! So far, I'm kind of behind... [cough]

And Julie - now that the holidays are over, I'm hoping that even those little windows will indeed add up to finally feeling like I'm getting something done.

I'm rather envious to see all the people at the Forum that I recall from a few years ago, who now have agents! I use these things as fuel for my inspiration.

Thanks, everyone, and a wonderful New Year to us all!
